Guksu Ceremony
The Guksu wore the "big head" ornament of radiating feather-tipped sticks. Attached to his head he wore a long nose or horn of feathers painted red. He carried a double bone whistle and a long staff tipped with feathers.

The opening of one ceremony was marked by the ritualistic bringing in and erection of a large pole in front of the dance house. At least once on each day of larger ceremonies the Guksu dancers appeared from outside and danced in the assembly house. The time between their exhibitions were filled out by people eating, gambling, or witnessing other dances.
